I'm looking to build a mid-high end gaming PC and I'm considering a Ryzen 7 8700F paired with an RTX 5070 and 32GB of DDR5 RAM at 6000MHz. I'm aiming for at least 60 FPS while playing games like Teardown and BeamNG.drive. I've specifically chosen NVIDIA for the graphics. Any thoughts or advice?

If you don’t need 8 cores, look at the Ryzen 5 9600X—it's better for gaming and usually cheaper than the 8700F. If you do want 8 cores, take a look at the 7700X; it's faster than the 8700F but might be slightly pricier.
The 8700F can handle gaming really well with decent settings, but whether it's worth it depends on how much you're paying for it.
Just to clear up, I’m actually from the Netherlands, so I can’t really check US stores or anything.
Honestly, I’d steer clear of the Ryzen 8000 series if you can. They’re more like mobile CPUs in a desktop setup. You’re likely better off with a Ryzen 7000 or 9000 series for gaming performance.

How much worse are the 8000 CPUs compared to something like the 7000 series?
