Is This Mini PC Good for Media and Casual Gaming?

I'm looking to buy a mini PC from eBay but I don't know much about computers. I found one that I'm interested in and I want to know if it's worth the price. My main uses would be watching media like YouTube and Netflix, and maybe playing some games like Terraria and Minecraft. Does anyone have experience with this type of PC, and can you tell me if it would handle those tasks?

For streaming 1080p videos on platforms like YouTube or Netflix, this should perform fine. But I wouldn’t recommend it for gaming at all; the CPU isn’t robust enough. You might find better value with an older Dell Optiplex in that price range, which could offer better specs for similar tasks.

Honestly, you probably won’t be able to play any demanding games on this PC. It might handle basic browsing and YouTube videos decently, but anything beyond that could be pushing it. The 8GB of RAM isn't really helping much either.

This tiny PC looks cute! It might be okay for games like Terraria, but when it comes to Minecraft, it could struggle a lot. If gaming is a priority, I’d look into dedicated PCs with stronger components instead.

These mini PCs are often hit or miss. I had one as a browsing machine, and it ended up being really slow and frustrating. I'd recommend investing in a refurbished laptop instead — you get more power for the price. Do you have any suggestions for models?

What do you think about this refurbished one I found?

I would suggest looking for a PC with at least 16GB of RAM nowadays. This mini PC's CPU is likely on the weaker side, so I doubt it will run Minecraft smoothly, especially if you’re playing the Java version.
