I built my first PC about six months ago and recently upgraded the RAM and graphics card. I have a Ryzen 7 5700X, MSI B450M-A PRO MAX II motherboard, 32GB of DDR4-3200 memory, an XFX RX 9060 XT 16GB, a 1TB TeamGroup GX2 SSD, and a 24-inch 144Hz IPS monitor. It uses a 550W Acer 80+ Bronze modular power supply, the stock AMD CPU cooler, and several case fans. Do these parts make a well-balanced system for gaming, general work, and everyday use?

I would also consider replacing the stock AMD cooler with an inexpensive tower air cooler. The 5700X can run warm under sustained loads, and a tower cooler such as an AK400-class model or a Peerless Assassin 120 SE should keep temperatures and noise lower. The stock cooler may work, but it is not the ideal long-term choice.
The main part I would replace is the power supply. A generic 550W unit from an unfamiliar brand is not something I would trust with a modern graphics card, even if the wattage looks adequate. Choose a reputable 650W model with good protections and a solid review history; it will give you more reliability and headroom.
For everyday use and typical office work, this is more than capable. Gaming performance will depend on the specific games and resolution, but that CPU and GPU combination should handle 1080p gaming very well and make good use of a 144Hz monitor. For heavier work such as 3D rendering or video production, the exact software and workload would matter more.

I mainly mean gaming, regular work, and normal daily use rather than specialized 3D or production workloads.
