I've been running a PC with a 5600X CPU and a 6900XT GPU for about three years now. I've managed to play the latest games like Battlefield 6 at high settings (1440p), and I'm happy with the performance. However, I noticed that the 5700X3D is running low on stock and is priced at around $290 in the US or €250 in Europe. If I sell my 5600X, I could get around $90 or €75. I'm considering whether upgrading to the 5700X3D is a good investment for gaming on the AM4 socket, or if my current setup will still serve me well for a few more years. Any thoughts?

If you're looking to upgrade, the 5700X3D might be a good choice for better frame rates and improved 1% lows in gaming. It can give you a noticeable boost in CPU-heavy games. Just keep in mind that the price is a bit steep right now. Have you looked into AM5 options as well? They might be worth considering if you're okay with a complete upgrade later on.

What do you think about the 7500F compared to the 5700X3D?
