I'm searching for a decent Mobile Device Management (MDM) platform specifically for Linux endpoints. We have several users who prefer Linux, and the management team is understandably keen on ensuring compliance across all devices. Currently, we're using Ubuntu's Landscape, but honestly, it feels more like an inventory tool and script executor than a comprehensive MDM solution. While tools like Intune and JAMF are great for Windows and Mac, I'm struggling to find something better than Landscape for managing Linux machines. It would be awesome to have features like ensuring endpoint security services are running, enforcing disk encryption, deploying certificates for .1x networking, and confirming that all security updates are applied. Have any of you come across a suitable MDM solution for Linux?

Why not just convince your CISO to switch all the machines to macOS? Trust me, MDM for Linux is a nightmare compared to the native support macOS offers. It sounds harsh, but it's sometimes the easiest way to go.
