Looking for Advice on My First PC Build

I'm excited to share my first-ever PC build! I've picked out some components that include a Ryzen 5 7600X, a B650 motherboard, and a 7700XT. You can check it out here: [PCPartPicker List](https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/FVxfC8). I'm a bit concerned about potential bottlenecks and whether it's worth upgrading any parts, even though I'm already slightly over budget. I'm open to sensible suggestions for options around my price point. Also, I'm unsure how to determine if the cooler will block any RAM slots. Thanks a ton for any advice!

You might want to consider the Silicon Power XPOWER Zenith Gaming 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR5-6000 CL30 memory. It’s similar in specifications but usually less expensive. That’s all I can offer, but others might have more insights!

Overall, I like the parts you’ve chosen. However, I’d suggest two changes: use a slightly cheaper RAM that has the same specs, and opt for the RTX 5060Ti 16GB instead of the 7700XT. The 5060Ti is about 10% faster in rasterization and 40% in raytracing, plus it has 4GB more VRAM. About your cooler question, I’ve used it before and it fit well, even with larger RAM like the G.Skill TridentZ RGB, so it should be fine with standard RAM.

I hadn’t thought about going with Nvidia because I’ve heard of driver issues with Ryzen before, but given the price and performance, it might be worth considering. Are those issues mostly resolved now? Also, I’ve seen some concerns about the 50 series releases; are they mainly for high-end builds?

Quick question—do you see any drawbacks of the Zotac Twin Edge compared to the MSI Ventus? I really prefer how the Zotac looks.

Honestly, I wouldn't worry too much about bottlenecks in 2025. I'm running an RTX 4090 with an i7-12700KF, and it works great for everything from gaming to AI training. It really just depends on how you plan to use your PC and what you prioritize more—CPU or GPU.

Like the others mentioned, the RTX 5060Ti is a solid choice. And if you’re considering it, the Ryzen 5 9600 is only around €200 and should serve you well.

That’s on my radar too! But is the performance upgrade really worth it for the future?
