Looking for an Alternative to Microsoft RDP for Different Monitor Setups

I'm searching for a remote desktop solution that allows for different numbers of monitors and various sizes between the host and user, other than Microsoft RDP. Currently, the user has two displays, while the office PC has three. RDP managed this well by temporarily disabling the host's displays to match the user's setup at home, but I'm looking for a third-party option instead due to some recent changes. Ideally, I'd prefer a free solution, but I'm open to paid ones as well. Any suggestions?

I'm curious about your reasons for moving away from RDP since it seems to be a solid option! Also, I've heard Parsec supports multi-monitor setups if you're okay with a paid solution. Other options might be TeamViewer or NoMachine, which can let you switch between monitors, though they might not handle multi-monitors perfectly. You might want to check out RealVNC as well, as they had multi-monitor support in their older versions. Let me know if you find something that works!

Yeah, it’s interesting that you're opting for something else! Sometimes sticking with what we know is easier, but if you need multi-monitor support, it's worth exploring these alternatives!

Good to note that many Windows programs still run on RDP in the background. Have you thought about tweaking the RDP icon settings directly with notepad? There might be some options that can help you out, depending on your setup.

Yeah, the problem is we can't log in using Azure accounts via RDP, which is why I'm looking for something else.
