Hey everyone! I'm trying to set up an HDMI connection from my TV to my HTPC, which requires a 10-meter cable run around some walls in my living room. I need it to support HDMI 2.1 with 4K at 120 Hz, 10-bit HDR, VRR, CEC, multichannel audio, and 4:4:4 YCbCr (no chroma subsampling). I don't need Ethernet over HDMI or ARC. I'm really exploring my options and I'm a bit confused about what would work best:
1. Standard copper cables seem risky at this length for my requirements.
2. Copper cables with HDMI repeaters – but are they reliable enough without adding latency?
3. Optical HDMI cables were my first thought, but I've read about compatibility issues and failures.
4. HDMI over Ethernet looks appealing, but I'm concerned about the bandwidth and latency as I need it to support around 36 Gbps, and I couldn't find any converters that handle 100 GbE.
What do you guys think? Which option would be the most reliable? Thanks in advance!

I’ve had great success with fiber HDMI cables. Just search for 'fiber HDMI' and you'll find a ton of options! They're flexible and seem to handle long distances well without issue.
