I'm on the hunt for a reliable AM5 motherboard. I currently have the MSI x670e Carbon Wifi Gaming board, which I've used for around 8 months, but I've faced quite a few issues including restart failures and error codes like 00, 05, and 22. After rigorous testing and eliminating a bunch of potential problems like the CPU, PSU, and RAM, I'm at the point where I might need to replace the BIOS chip myself. I can't RMA it since I lost the CPU cover, so I'm wondering if anyone out there has found an AM5 motherboard that just works without the headaches. Would love to hear your experiences!

I've been using an Asrock B650M-HDV/M.2 with a 7800X3D for over a year now, and it's been really solid for me. I updated the BIOS as soon as I got it, which helped with RAM speeds. A friend has the same setup, but he's only had his for about a month, so we’ll see how his holds up long-term. Definitely worth considering!

For sure! For stability, considering dropping back to PCIe 4.0 could be a good move, especially since I don't plan on upgrading to the 50 series anytime soon.
