While playing League of Legends, I was disconnected from the server. When I tried to reconnect, the screen went black and I couldn't switch applications, so I powered off the computer. After restarting, the mouse cursor became stuck in the top-right corner and began clicking repeatedly. This happens even when I unplug the mouse, making it impossible to select the password field and log in. I've already reconnected the mouse, tried Safe Mode, and discharged the PC by unplugging it and holding the power button. What else could be causing this, and how can I regain control?

Since it continues with the mouse unplugged and also happens in Safe Mode, the issue is probably not the game itself. Try using a different keyboard, disconnecting the Wi‑Fi adapter and every other USB device, and checking whether the cursor behaves normally in the BIOS or on the Windows sign-in screen. If it still moves and clicks there, a stuck keyboard key, controller, touchscreen, or other hardware input is likely. If it only happens after Windows loads, use recovery options to create a new user profile or restore Windows to a point before the crash.
Check for another input device sending mouse commands. A gamepad with a stuck analog stick, drawing tablet, wireless receiver, faulty keyboard key, or even a touchpad can force the cursor into one corner and repeatedly click. Disconnect every USB device and disable Bluetooth, leaving only a basic keyboard connected. If the problem stops, reconnect devices one at a time to identify the culprit.
The only connected items are the keyboard, mouse, Wi‑Fi adapter, and an unplugged USB-to-USB-C cable. The behavior continues even after disconnecting the mouse.
