My PC Won’t Boot After Upgrading the PSU and Cleaning

Hey everyone, I'm in a bit of a bind! I recently switched out my power supply unit (PSU) and decided to give my PC a good cleaning while I was at it. I even applied new thermal paste on the CPU. After setting everything back up, my PC rebooted due to an update, but then it started showing boot issues and won't go into Windows. Now, it just boots straight into the BIOS, and neither of my SSDs is showing up. I even have a clean Windows install on a USB drive, but it doesn't recognize the SSDs there either. I'm really lost and could use some help!

First things first, check if the SATA or NVMe cables are securely connected. Sometimes, during cleaning, things can get jostled around. Go into the BIOS and see if your drives show up under the ‘Storage’ section. That’s a good starting point!

So just to clarify, you only swapped the PSU and applied new thermal paste? Make sure you’re using only the new cables that came with the PSU. If you’ve reused any cables from the old one, that could be the issue!

Yes, I’m using all the cables that came with the new PSU.
