My PC Won’t Fully Power On—Need Some Help!

I'm having an issue with my PC not powering on completely. It's not a matter of building a new PC; I just hope someone can help me figure this out. The motherboard keeps flashing a red light, alternating between the DRAM and CPU indicators. It stays on the DRAM light for longer before switching to the CPU. Any suggestions?

It sounds like your PC might be having trouble during the boot process. Can you provide the make and model of your components? That way, we can troubleshoot more effectively.

Have you checked the motherboard for any error codes or unusual beeping? That might give you a clue about what's going wrong. Also, re-seating the CPU could help if that's something you're comfortable doing.

From what you described, a common cause could be a RAM issue. Since you're using G.Skill RAM, ensure they are seated correctly. Sometimes, the slots can be finicky. Also, make sure your power supply is delivering enough power to all the components.
