A few days ago, I was using my PC and shut it down for the night. When I tried to turn it back on the next morning, it wouldn't start. I called a local shop, and they diagnosed it as a dead power supply unit (PSU). I bought a new one and set it up, but unfortunately, my PC still won't turn on. I'm feeling stuck and unsure about what to do next. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Just to be sure, have you turned on the new PSU switch at the back? Sometimes it’s easy to overlook that step after installation!
Make sure all your power connections are secure, especially the 24-pin and 8-pin CPU cables. If everything is connected properly but it still won't power up, try resetting the CMOS by removing the battery for a minute and putting it back. Check if the power supply switch on the back is flipped to 'on' and try plugging it into a different outlet or using another power cable. You can also look for any lights on the motherboard or listen for beeps that might indicate it's getting power. To troubleshoot further, try starting the system with just the CPU, one stick of RAM, and the motherboard—leave out the GPU and storage for now to see if it powers on.
Also, don't reuse the modular cables if you have a modular PSU. They might have caused the issues.
I checked, and yes, the 24 and 8 pin are plugged in tightly, and the power switch is on. The PSU clicks (the old one did too), but when I tried without the GPU, the RGB and fans lit up. Does that mean my GPU has a short circuit or something?
Yes, I made sure the switch is flipped on.
