Hey everyone, I'm having a bit of a crisis with my PC. It was working fine yesterday, but this morning it just won't turn on at all! When I first booted it up, my keyboard and mouse didn't respond, so I powered it off and tried again. The second time, nothing happened—no lights, no fan noise, just dead silence. I've had some issues lately where I had to hold down the power button instead of just clicking it, which I think might be related. I've swapped out the power cables, but that didn't help either. I'm planning to check the internal cable connections tomorrow since I haven't opened it up yet. I rely on this computer for online school and leisure during the week, so I'm really anxious to get it fixed. I didn't buy it with a warranty, and right now I can't afford to replace it. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

It sounds like your power supply might be the issue. It's one of the easier components to replace, and you can usually find a decent one for around $50 online. If it doesn't fix the problem, you can return it. It's worth considering since it could save you a lot of hassle!
I agree, if you got a budget system, the power supply is often what's skimped on. But if money's tight, definitely think twice before buying.
Yeah, I'm leaning towards that as a last option. Just trying to gather all my alternatives before spending any cash.
