My Second Monitor Looks Stretched – Help Needed!

Hey everyone, I'm having a frustrating issue with my monitor setup. After restarting my PC last night, my second monitor seems to be all stretched out. I checked the display settings and everything looks correct there. I also accessed the screen's on-screen display (OSD) settings, and while it was set to 'wide', I changed it to 'auto'. Now, only about 50% of the screen is in use, but it's still not perfectly aligned. It feels like there's a problem with the aspect ratio. A Windows update happened a few weeks back, and I've restarted my PC several times since. When I use the problematic display as the main monitor while the second is off, the display looks normal.

Here's the gear I'm using:
- Samsung G8 32" Curve 2K 240Hz – connected via DisplayPort
- Samsung G80SD 4K 240Hz – connected via DisplayPort

To resolve the issue, I've tried using DDU to install the latest AMD drivers and switched cables and ports around.

Both your monitors are 16:9, right? I find it odd that when I boot with just that monitor, the aspect ratio is correct. I’m not really experienced with custom resolutions, but I did try to create a ‘default resolution’ in the AMD driver, and it said to clear all '!'. That didn’t really help, though.

Here’s what the display looks like in auto from the OSD settings: ![screenshot](https://preview.redd.it/c4y46wcnbfwe1.jpeg?width=4000&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e894d8dce15ff9616d12cb21e8116b64ef99cb13)

First off, what aspect ratio is your screen set to? Also, how are you connecting it—DisplayPort, HDMI, or something else? Just curious, was it working fine before this issue cropped up? Since you mentioned aspect ratio problems, any chance you're using a custom resolution or refresh rate profile? Are you relying on Windows display settings, or are you setting that up through your Nvidia or AMD driver?

Right now, the aspect ratio in the OSD is set to auto. It’s weird because when I go through the settings, it says up to 23" wide even though it’s a 32" monitor. It is connected via DisplayPort, and it worked fine for about six months before this. I haven’t made any custom resolution or refresh rate profiles recently.
