Hey everyone, something really bizarre happened with my TikTok account, and I could use some insight into this. Yesterday, I was following around 30 accounts, but when I checked today, my account is somehow following 10,000 profiles. I haven't used any bots or third-party apps, and I've confirmed that there are no suspicious logins in my security settings—only my usual devices show up. What's really puzzling is that the following number is exactly 10,000, which is the app's following limit. Even stranger, my device settings list my device as an iPhone 11, while I'm using an iPhone 14. I've tried changing my password, checking active sessions, clearing the cache, and updating the app, but the number still stands at 10,000. Has anyone else dealt with something like this? Could my account have been compromised without showing any external logins? I'm also confused about all the random accounts I'm following. Any advice or explanations would be much appreciated! Thanks!

Honestly, the best advice might just be to delete your account and start fresh with a new email. Sometimes prevention is better than cure. You don’t want to risk further issues.
Honestly, you might just want to stop using TikTok altogether. If your account really was compromised, it's just not worth it.

I hear you, but I do love the platform. Just wish I could fix this issue!
