I'm putting together my first PC and have done quite a bit of research on parts and compatibility. Overall, everything seems to work well together, but I'd love some critique on my choices and if there's anything I might have overlooked. This rig will mainly be for gaming, some game development, and light rendering with Blender. Here's what I've got so far:
* GPU: GIGABYTE Gaming Radeon RX 9060 XT 16GB
* CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 9700X
* MOBO: ASUS B650E MAX GAMING
* PSU: MONTECH Century II
* M.2: KingSpec SSD 2TB
* RAM: Patriot Memory Viper Venom 64GB (2 x 32GB)
* CASE: Pop XL Air
* CPU Cooler: DARKROCK DT6 CPU Air Cooler
My budget is around $1500, so I'm hoping this balance is solid. If you have any suggestions or questions, please let me know!

It looks like a decent build overall. For your gaming and game dev needs, the Ryzen 7 9700X is a strong choice. However, you might want to consider a different motherboard unless you really need the extra I/O options of the B650E. Also, pay attention to your SSD; for game development, a higher-performing SSD can make a difference. I’d recommend looking into options with a better warranty, just for some peace of mind. As for the cooler, I’ve heard good things about the Thermalright Phantom Spirit if you want something slightly more effective.
Thanks for the tips! Do you have any specific motherboard suggestions in a similar price range? I’m also thinking about switching the SSD to a 1TB model to keep within budget. Any recommendations for that?
