Hey everyone! I'm facing some issues with my current RAM, which has been causing random OS crashes and I've noticed a bunch of bad sectors through MemTest. Because of this, I'm considering upgrading both my motherboard and RAM. Instead of just replacing them with the same models, I want to enhance my entire setup and repurpose my old components for a family member's build. I'm looking for advice on whether my upgrade path makes sense! I'll be using the upgraded setup primarily for gaming, while the family member will use it mainly for streaming, YouTube, and office tasks. Here are my current parts and my planned builds for both systems:

If you're having RAM issues, it might be a good idea to check if your G.Skill RAM is under warranty. They often offer a lifetime warranty, so you might be able to get a replacement instead of diving into a full upgrade right away!
Just a heads up, your new Ryzen CPU is quite powerful, but pairing it with the 6800 Radeon might lead to a performance bottleneck. If your games are GPU-heavy, you might want to consider upgrading that too in the future!
I figured the GPU has served me well, but yeah, maybe I should look into that if I start noticing performance drops!
Oh, I didn’t realize that! I'll definitely look into RMA options!
