I'm building my first gaming PC and want to make sure everything is compatible and up to par for driving the LG ultrawide 5K2K monitor I plan to use. Here's my current build:

- **CPU**: AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D 4.7 GHz 8-Core Processor
- **CPU Cooler**: Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120 SE ARGB
- **Motherboard**: ASRock Phantom Gaming X870E Nova WiFi ATX AM5
- **Memory**: TEAMGROUP T-Force Delta RGB 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR5-6000
- **Storage**: Samsung 990 Pro 2 TB M.2 NVME SSD
- **Video Card**: Zotac GAMING SOLID OC GeForce RTX 5090 32 GB
- **Case**: Antec FLUX PRO ATX Full Tower
- **Power Supply**: Super Flower Leadex III Gold UP 1000 W
- **Monitor**: LG UltraGear OLED 45GX950A-B 44.5" 5120 x 2160 165 Hz Curved

I'd appreciate any feedback on compatibility or suggestions on how to improve my setup!

You might want to reconsider the ASRock motherboard in your build. I've seen multiple reports of burned CPUs when paired with the 9800X3D. It could save you some trouble in the long run. Maybe look into a different brand that has a better reputation for compatibility with this CPU. Also, the motherboard is a pretty big expense, so think about getting a more reasonably priced option if you can.

Good catch on the motherboard! I'd recommend looking at ASUS or MSI boards instead; they usually have solid track records with the Ryzen series.

Overall, your build looks solid! I suggest switching out the case fans for Noctua ones. They might be a bit pricey, but they're much quieter and perform better than many stock fans. Plus, since you're investing a lot in the CPU and GPU, you want your whole setup to be top-notch.

Thanks for the suggestion! I've heard great things about Noctuas. I’ll definitely consider upgrading my fans for a quieter experience.
