I've built my PC mainly for gaming, but I haven't really gotten into it as much as I thought I would. Now, I mostly use it to stream movies on my home theater. The issue I'm facing is that my GTX 1080 Ti has only an HDMI 2.0 port, which limits me to 4K at 60 Hz instead of 120 Hz. It does have DisplayPort 1.4, so I could possibly use an adapter. I'm looking for recommendations on a good graphics card that features HDMI 2.1. Additionally, I have a 144Hz G-Sync monitor and I'd like to take advantage of that if I decide to game again.

You might want to check out an Nvidia Shield for movie streaming instead. It can outperform a PC setup for that purpose, plus it’s super easy to use.
Consider grabbing a used RTX 3070 Ti if you can find one at a decent price. They’re great for performance and will give you HDMI 2.1.
For movies, 24 fps typically won’t be much smoother at 120 Hz compared to 60 Hz. The higher refresh rates shine more in gaming. When it comes to cards, it really boils down to your budget and what you want to do with it.
