Hey everyone! I've got a setup with a 12700K processor, cooled by an Arctic Liquid Freezer II 360mm, and I'm running it on a Z690 GAMING X DDR4 motherboard with 3200MT/s DDR4 RAM. My GPU is a 6900XT and I've got a 1KW platinum Asus PSU. I've been thinking about upgrading but I'm torn between options.
One idea is to get a 9950x3d, but that would set me back around 730€ for just the CPU, plus another 200€ for the motherboard and anywhere from 200€ to 400€ for RAM. I could reuse my cooler, but I might want to sell my whole setup instead.
The other option is I just found a deal for a 14900KS for 620€, and if I go for that, I theoretically wouldn't have to upgrade anything else.
So, what do you all think? Is the 14900KS worth it, or am I missing something that makes it not a good value? I'm okay spending money, but I want to avoid unnecessary expenses. Any suggestions or thoughts on either path are welcome!

You might want to consider the 14700K instead of the 14900KS. It's almost as powerful, and you'll save some cash since you won't be paying for the top-of-the-line CPU. It might be a smart alternative!
Is the performance difference really worth the 130€? The only 14700K I can find right now is 490€, while the 14900KS is priced at 620€.
