Struggling with Stuttering Issues in Games – Need Help!

Hey everyone! I've been dealing with really frustrating microstutters and major frame spikes in all the games I've tried, including light ones, and even in the menus. My PC specs are pretty solid, with an RTX 3070, Ryzen 5 5600, and 32GB RAM, but despite extensive testing and trying all common fixes, the stuttering persists. My setup includes an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 with updated drivers, a Ryzen 5 5600 CPU without overclocking, good RAM speed, and decent cooling. I've gone through BIOS updates, performance tweaks, and monitoring tools, but I see long frametime spikes and even freezing during gameplay. I'm looking for any advanced troubleshooting steps or insights if anyone has faced similar issues. Thanks a bunch!

Do you happen to have a recording of the problem? That could help diagnose it better. You mentioned trying various drivers; how far back did you roll? Sometimes older drivers can resolve these types of issues, but ensure that the version you’re using isn’t causing conflicts. Also, it’s crucial to keep your GPU’s workload in check; stutters can happen if your GPU goes idle unexpectedly during rendering.

Awesome, that video will be super helpful for diagnosing. If you're noticing the GPU load dropping off, it may hint at a deeper hardware or driver conflict.

Thanks for the feedback! Yes, I’ve recorded some footage: [Video Link](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ykSJAOSEw6E&ab_channel=TonyMontana). I’ve used several versions back to 537.xx. Each had varying degrees of success, but none completely fixed the issue.

It sounds like you've done a lot of legwork already! One thing to consider is running some monitoring software to check your GPU and CPU utilization during the stutters. If the GPU drops significantly, it could point to a problem with the driver or some interference. Also, ensure your power settings are optimized for performance and that background applications aren't hogging resources.
