Thoughts on My First PC Build?

Hey everyone! I'm diving into building my first PC and I'm looking to create a mid-range setup with a budget of $1500. My goal is to game casually, aiming for 1440p at a minimum of 120 fps, mainly focusing on first-person shooters. I'll also be doing some basic video editing for social media and tackling other productivity tasks. I'm transitioning from a MacBook Pro and would love any feedback on my selected components. You can check out my build on PC Part Picker [here](https://pcpartpicker.com/list/Hbc9PJ). Thanks in advance!

The build looks solid, but you might want to upgrade that CPU cooler. I recommend the Noctua NH-U12S or the DeepCool AK400. I've used both and they keep temps low without hassle. Just keep an eye on your budget!

I appreciate the cooler suggestions! I'll consider those.

It looks great overall, but I recommend bumping your PSU to at least 750W. That should give you some extra headroom for upgrades!

Thanks for the suggestion! A higher PSU sounds like a good call.

Consider downgrading to the 9600X for a more budget-friendly option and get yourself a 9070XT GPU instead. It'll give you better FPS at 1440p without needing a fancy CPU. Also, definitely grab a 750W or 850W PSU for stability!

Thanks for the detailed breakdown! I’ll check those out.

You could save a bit by switching to the Ryzen 7 7700X instead of the 9700X. It offers good performance without breaking the bank!

I noticed that one previously, thanks for the reminder! I'll definitely take another look.
