I'm in a bit of trouble here. I have a B450M Steel Legend motherboard and had been using a single 8GB stick of Asgard DDR4 RAM at 3600MHz. Today, I upgraded to two Corsair Vengeance LPX sticks (2x16GB, also DDR4 3600MHz). I installed them in the second and fourth slots (A2 and B2), but now my PC powers on with no display and enters a power cycle, staying on for about 40 seconds before turning off and restarting. I've even tried putting the old RAM back in, but I'm facing the same issue now—no display, just a continuous on/off cycle. Did I mess everything up? Help! 😢

Sometimes when you upgrade RAM, the motherboard needs to do some memory training. Try just walking away for a bit; it could be working in the background. Super scary if you’re not used to it, but definitely give it a few minutes!
It’s usually fine to leave both sticks in. Just give it time.
If you clear the CMOS and it still doesn't boot, you might need to consider returning the Corsair RAM. Start by resetting the CMOS—just remove the battery on the motherboard for a minute or two, then put it back and try again.
How exactly do I clear the CMOS? I've heard about it, but not sure how.
Should I leave both new sticks in while it trains, or would it be better to just use one? Don’t want to mess anything up!
