Upgrading from Ryzen 5700X3D to 9800X3D: Thoughts on My Build?

I'm currently using a Ryzen 5700X3D along with a 5070Ti, but I've noticed that I'm really CPU bottlenecked, especially since I mainly play iRacing, which is quite demanding on the CPU and benefits from single-core performance. I'm considering a new build featuring the Ryzen 9800X3D, paired with 32GB of 6000MHz RAM (CL30) and the X870 Aorus Elite motherboard, since I need plenty of USB ports for my sim racing setup. I've linked my potential build [here](https://pcpartpicker.com/list/fhPj9C). I'd love to hear your thoughts on it! Also, if there are better or cheaper RAM options available, I'm open to suggestions. RGB isn't a priority for me anymore since the PC sits under my desk.

Just a heads up, the X870 doesn't actually provide any more USB ports than other options; it just adds a couple of USB4 ports that you might not need for gaming. Maybe check if your current setup already meets your needs?

Thanks for the tip! I'll look into that and see if I can find something that fits better.

I'm not a big fan of AIO coolers, but if you like yours, go for it! The X870 motherboard seems a bit overkill for your needs. You might want to consider a B850 or B650 instead; they should work just as well for what you're doing and save you some cash.

Totally get it! Having enough USB ports is crucial for gaming setups. Just make sure those ports are what you really need.

I already have the AIO cooler. And yeah, I get that the motherboard might be a bit much, but I really need the extra USB ports. Here in the Netherlands, the price difference is just about 50 euros, so I'm okay with that.
