I'm working on a project that requires some Windows-only applications. Currently, I'm using Boot Camp, but the need to restart my Mac every time I want to switch apps is really slowing me down. Is there an easier way to run Windows apps directly on my Mac without having to reboot all the time? Will they run smoothly alongside my Mac applications, or will it affect performance? I'm not very tech-savvy, so I'm looking for something that's easy to set up. Any suggestions or tips from those who've tried this would be greatly appreciated!

It would also help if you could share a list of the specific apps you're trying to use. Certain software might have better compatibility with some solutions over others.
You might want to consider using Parallels or VMware. They're both solid options for running Windows apps on your Mac without needing to reboot. I’ve had good experiences with them!

VirtualBox is another good choice, and it's open source, so it's free! It works quite well for running Windows applications without any hassle.
