What GPU Should I Choose for Gaming in My Budget?

Hey everyone, I need some advice on upgrading my GPU. I'm looking to play the latest games at 1440p with medium to high settings, or at least at 1080p on ultra. My current setup includes a Ryzen 5 5600x and a 4060. However, GPUs are really expensive in my country; for instance, an RTX 5070 is priced at $760, and with my budget capped at $600, that's just not doable. What graphics card would you recommend I get within the $500-$600 range?

Just a quick question, what country are you in?

I'm in the Dominican Republic. Prices here are a bit of a mystery to me; maybe I should check Amazon.

You might want to consider the RX 9060 XT 16GB. It's a solid option in that price range and performs well. Just make sure to check Tom's Hardware for GPU benchmarks to see how it fits your needs. I’d steer clear of 8GB cards if you can help it!

Keep an eye out for the 9070 too. If you can snag one under $600, it’s a fantastic choice.

The RTX 5060 Ti 16GB is also a good choice, along with the RX 9060 XT 16GB. They should give you decent performance at 1440p and 1080p settings.

I'd say go for the 9070 if you can find it for $650 or less. If it’s over that, then the RX 9060 XT 16GB is a great pick for 1080p and it handles a lot well at 1440p too.
