Hey everyone! I'm looking for some feedback on my PC build and would love any suggestions for improvements or changes. Here are the specs I've put together:
- **CPU**: AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D 4.2 GHz 8-Core
- **Cooler**: Geometric Future Eskimo Pro Liquid Cooler
- **Motherboard**: MSI MAG B650 TOMAHAWK WIFI ATX AM5
- **Memory**: ADATA XPG Lancer Blade RGB 32GB DDR5-6000
- **Storage**: Lexar NM790 2TB NVME SSD
- **Video Card**: Asus PRIME GeForce RTX 5070 Ti 16GB
- **Case**: Geometric Future Model 5 ATX Mid Tower
- **Power Supply**: Corsair RM850x 850W Fully Modular
The total price comes to about $3466.08. Any thoughts or tips on how to optimize this build? I'd really appreciate your input!

You might want to reconsider the video card choice, especially the Asus PRIME GeForce RTX 5070 Ti. It's got one of the lowest-rated heatsinks out there, which could lead to overheating issues if you're running intensive tasks. Plus, with a big case like yours, you could definitely fit a larger card, which would have better cooling. Consider something like a Galax 5070 Ti instead; it's often better reviewed. Just a heads-up, your build might become quite the RGB spectacle!
I'd look at this build instead for a balanced approach: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=uRlnoSi-8m8&pp=ygUYbW9kZWwgNSBnZW9tZXRyaWMgZnV0dXJl
Everything looks solid, but I agree that the Asus heatsink isn’t great. It might be worth switching to another graphics card with a better cooling solution. Just know, with the RGB setup you have, your rig is going to look pretty flashy—almost Christmas tree-like!
Yeah, after hearing your feedback, I'm leaning towards the Galax 5070 Ti, since it’s comparable in price and might perform better.
Would the Galax 5070 Ti actually be a better option for cooling? And is having RGB everywhere really a bad thing?
