I recently discovered an old GeoBook 3Si laptop while cleaning my room. I had to remove the battery quite some time ago because it got inflated, and I likely tossed out the charger as well. I've opened it up, and there's nothing useful to take out, like RAM. I'm curious if there are any fun or creative things I could do with this old laptop, considering its condition.

You could install a lightweight Linux distribution on it, like Debian with LXQt, and see if you can find a replacement battery to get it operational again. It's great for basic tasks!
Since it's got 4GB of RAM and a 128GB SSD, you might consider setting it up as a media server or streaming device. Just connect it to some external storage, and you're good to go!
Get creative! You could use it as a flower press or even hang it on the wall as a piece of art. It might make for a unique decor item!
Why not turn it into a retro gaming machine? You can hook it up with an external drive and run some classic games. That could be a fun project!
That sounds cool! I wasn't sure if the hardware would handle it well since it's pretty old.
If you're into Minecraft, there are tools online to set up a Minecraft server. Just make sure you're aware that it might struggle to keep up, but it's worth a try!

That's a great idea! I never thought of using it for media. So, I just need to find a way to connect more storage?
