I recently switched to Linux and need an alternative to Outlook. My personal Microsoft 365 account is my main address, and I use it for email, calendar, and contacts. I also have several other email accounts that I access over IMAP, so I'd like one application that can manage everything together rather than using the Microsoft web app for one account and a separate client for the others. I tried Evolution and managed to connect it, but older messages in my Sent folder are displayed with today's date, which makes sorting and searching unreliable. Are there any Linux clients that handle Microsoft 365 synchronization well?

Evolution is still probably the closest Linux equivalent to Outlook because it handles mail, calendars, contacts, and Microsoft accounts in one place. However, the incorrect dates in Sent may be an Evolution or server-folder synchronization quirk, so Thunderbird is a good alternative to test before spending time troubleshooting it.
Thunderbird is worth trying. Recent versions support Microsoft 365 through Microsoft Graph, and mail, calendars, and contacts can work alongside regular IMAP accounts. Installing the current Flatpak release may be the easiest way to get the newest support.
Older Thunderbird setups may have required a paid Exchange add-on, but the newer Microsoft Graph integration is a different approach and worked for at least one Microsoft 365 account without extra software.
