What PC cases still have that mid-2000s junk-tech aesthetic?

I'm in Canada and have no fixed budget. I've been collecting tech from my childhood era, but my current computer looks completely out of place, so I've been keeping it under my desk. I'm looking for a case with design language similar to an old portable music player or other late-1990s to mid-2000s electronics. Any size is fine since I have a micro-ATX board, and I don't need optical-drive bays or dedicated SSD mounts. The main requirements are a suitably retro appearance and decent airflow. Also, does anyone know where to find parody stickers inspired by phrases like "Intel Core Inside"?

Zalman, Antec, and SilverStone all made cases with the chunky, heavily vented styling you're describing. Fractal Design is another brand to browse, although its older models generally look more modern and understated.

The most authentic option is probably hunting local classified listings for older Lian Li, Antec, SilverStone, and similar enthusiast cases. They often turn up for around $20โ50 and many are still perfectly usable for modern hardware. If you need to mount SATA SSDs, inexpensive 3.5-inch-to-2.5-inch adapters work well.

SilverStone's FLP03 is heavily inspired by late-1990s computers. It may lean a little earlier than the mid-2000s look you're after, but the styling and front-panel details are exceptionally retro.

Cases with a side-panel fan are worth considering. They were very common in that era, and a properly positioned side intake can provide surprisingly effective cooling while adding a lot of character.
