I'm looking to replace my corrupted RAM and need some advice. I can either get 2x16GB of DDR5-6400 or 2x24GB of DDR5-5200. My setup includes an AMD Radeon 6950XT and a Ryzen 9 7900X. I typically use my PC for gaming, including demanding titles like modded Baldur's Gate 3, as well as photo and video editing with Photoshop and Premiere Pro. I'm wondering whether I would notice a significant difference between the two options, considering I probably don't need more than 32GB, but both are priced the same. Plus, the 48GB option comes in white, which would match my rig. What do you all think?

Be cautious with that 6400MHz RAM - it defaults to a 2:1 mode, which might slow things down compared to the ideal 6000CL30 setup. Most Ryzen 7000 CPUs don't handle 6400 in 1:1 easily, so aiming for 6000-6200 with low latency might be the way to go.
For gaming, it's better to go with the higher speed RAM at 6400MHz, as it can make quite a difference in performance. For Ryzen CPUs, they usually recommend around 6000CL30 for optimal results.
Thanks for the detailed explanation!
