I've noticed that my TV is making sparks, even after I've turned it off. I mentioned this to my dad and asked if I could unplug it, but he said no. I'm not sure what to do next since it's looking pretty dangerous. Any advice?

You really need to unplug it immediately; that’s a serious safety hazard. In fact, it might be best to just replace the TV entirely. Safety first!
