I recently got a welcome email from iCloud at my primary email, but I don't have an Apple account or any Apple products. Along with that, I've received several verification emails and codes that I never asked for. I attempted to access the account through the "Forgot password" link, but the phone number associated with it isn't mine. How can I unlink my email from this Apple ID since I didn't create it and can't access it? Any help or suggestions for reaching Apple support would be appreciated!

You should definitely reach out to Apple support regarding this issue. They can help you verify your information via email and should be able to close the incorrect account associated with your email.
Don't forget to follow any specific rules or guidelines they have for reporting issues like this. It's always best to provide all the required information to get a faster resolution.
Unfortunately, it sounds like you're in a pretty tough spot. Typically, once an email is linked to an Apple ID, you can't use it again for a new account. I've had this happen, and Apple generally won't do more than lock the bogus account. It's a shame they don’t do email verification before allowing account creation.
Thanks for the suggestion! I’ll look into the recovery process.
Make sure to check your credit card statements for any unauthorized activity as well. It’s important to stay on top of any potential fraud that could arise from this situation.

Are you sure about that? I heard that Apple IDs can actually be switched to different email addresses. Maybe you could try the recovery process to get control and change it?
