What Should I Upgrade First on My 5-Year-Old Pre-Built PC?

Hey everyone! I got this pre-built PC around 5 years ago and it ran games like Borderlands 2 smoothly, which was perfect for me at the time. Lately, though, some newer games are starting to lag, specifically I'm having issues with Assassin's Creed Shadows. I'd love your advice on what to upgrade first. Here are my current specs:

- Processor: 11th Gen Intel Core i7-11700F 2.50GHz
- RAM: 16GB
- Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Ti (6GB)

First off, check your power supply to make sure it can handle an upgrade. A good start would be upgrading to 32GB of faster RAM (like 2x16GB), which should help your performance a bit. Let us know what you find out about the power supply, though!

I have a 240V 60Hz power supply. Is that good?

Honestly, I'd suggest focusing on getting a new GPU since that's where you'll see the biggest improvement. What's your budget looking like for upgrades?

I'm thinking about $300-500 right now, but I'm not in a huge rush to upgrade.
