I'm really excited to dive into Oblivion Remastered, but my current setup isn't cutting it. I've got an NVidia GForce RTX 3050 and a 13th Gen Intel Core i5-13400F, but I'm struggling to run the game smoothly. What do you think I should upgrade to make this game playable? Any specific recommendations?

Honestly, your processor seems fine, but upgrading the GPU is a must. The 3050 isn't ideal for gaming at this level. Since Oblivion Remastered recommends at least a 1070ti with 8GB of VRAM, I'd suggest looking for something in that range or better if you can.
I have a 3070, and I'm having trouble with Oblivion too. Even though I have 8GB, my friend with the same setup runs it just fine. It might be worth noting that the game isn't super optimized, so upgrading your GPU will likely help, but it's not a guaranteed fix.
From my experience, your main issue is the GPU. The 3050 just doesn't have enough power or VRAM for a modern title like the Oblivion remake. That's where I'd focus my upgrades first!
Definitely the GPU. Oblivion Remastered has some hefty VRAM requirements. If you're struggling, it's probably because you have the 6GB version of the 3050. A GPU with 8GB or more, like a 5060ti or AMD's equivalent, would definitely help you out. But keep in mind, GPU prices are pretty wild right now—consider checking the second-hand market!
I have a 3070 FE, and I can run Oblivion on ultra settings without any FPS issues. Is the 3050 really that much weaker?
