I've been using an Xbox Elite Series 2 controller on my PC for about three years, but it's starting to show its age - I'm dealing with stick drift, worn grips, and buttons that are getting old. I prefer a keyboard and mouse, but due to limited feeling in my left hand, controllers are my main option. I really enjoy customizing the sticks and triggers, so I'm on the hunt for something similar, preferably with plenty of customization options. Price isn't a huge concern; I just want a solid, durable controller that will last me awhile.

If you're looking for a great alternative, check out the PS5 DualSense Edge. I've been using it on PC for a couple of years now, and I love how customizable it is, similar to the Elite controller. No issues so far, and it might be worth considering!
I recommend trying the Gamesir T4 Kaleid. It has a solid build and extra mappable buttons, which are great for accommodating reduced hand mobility. Just a thought!
I had the same issue with the Elite paddles; they didn't work well for me due to my shaky hands.
I checked out the Kaleid, but it doesn’t seem to let me customize the joy sticks, which is a dealbreaker.
You should also look into the Apex 5. It offers a lot of features you're after, like stick adjustments and the option to swap sticks for taller ones. Fkydigi makes quality stuff too, as does Gamesir.
It seems to have everything, but I'm not seeing any options for custom joy sticks.

I actually prefer the Xbox layout over the PS controller, so that's a bit of a downside for me.
