I'm in a bit of a bind. My professor has asked us to use laptops for a 3D simulation in class, but I just bought a desktop and can't return it. Unfortunately, I can't afford a laptop right now. Is there any way I can access my desktop remotely through my tablet using the internet? Would cloud services work for this?

You might want to check out AnyDesk or VNC. They’re good options for remote access. Parsec is also great because it gives you full control, not just for gaming, which is something I totally forgot to mention!
Google Remote Desktop is pretty solid too. They’ve got a web app that's functional, even if their tablet and phone apps aren’t available. It's worth a try! TeamViewer is another option, but they've had some security hiccups in the past. You could also use Windows Remote Desktop, but that would require setting up a VPN like Tailscale, which isn't too hard to do.
I still have the Google Remote Desktop app on my phone, and it works like a charm!
Rustdesk is a free alternative to TeamViewer that could be just what you need. Just make sure to crank up the security settings with 2FA and a strong access code to keep things safe.
Yeah, Parsec is really versatile and works well for various tasks!
