I'm building a new PC with a Ryzen 7600X, 32 GB of Team Group CL30 6000MHz RAM, an ASRock B650 motherboard, a Frozen cooler, and a Corsair RM750E PSU. I'm trying to decide between the 9060 XT with 16GB or the 7700 XT with 12GB for my graphics card. Budget isn't really a concern for me, as I'm looking to spend around $1,000 to $1,200. Which one should I go with?

If you're looking for performance longevity, go with the 9060 XT. It shines in ray tracing and its VRAM is more future-proof. Also, you might consider tweaking other parts of your build, like the motherboard and cooler, to optimize your budget better without compromising quality.

What PSU would you recommend instead?

I totally agree about not skimping on the PSU; it's the backbone of your build. A good PSU can save you from future headaches!

The 9060 XT 16GB is definitely the way to go! They perform similarly, but the extra 4GB of VRAM and FSR4 support makes the 9060 XT a clear winner. You'll get better longevity out of it, especially for future titles.

I have hands-on experience with both cards, and the 9060 XT outperforms the 7700 XT in just about every scenario. It's faster in raster performance and shows a significant leap in ray tracing. If you're planning to play demanding games, the 16GB VRAM will be hugely beneficial for upcoming titles like Cyberpunk and Indiana Jones.

Honestly, the 9060 XT is a lock for me. You get better ray tracing, more VRAM, and FSR4 support, which will keep you ahead as games get more demanding. It might be worth looking at the 5060 Ti too if you're open to spending a little more.

Why recommend the 5060 Ti when it still has driver issues? Those advantages might not mean much if the product is buggy.
