I'm trying to decide between two RAM kits for my build. The first one is a 32GB DDR5-6400 kit that's priced at $89.99, while the second is a 32GB DDR5-6000 kit that's a bit pricier at $98.99. I was under the impression that the 6400 kit would be faster even though it has higher timings, but I'm a bit confused about why the 6400 kit is also cheaper. What do you think?

The sweet spot for performance is generally 32GB at 6000MHz CL30. It's often considered the gold standard for gaming and multitasking, so I'd lean towards that one if you can afford the slightly higher price.
I say get the cheapest option. Sometimes saving a little cash can be worth it!
With the 9800x3d in mind, I think either kit would work well for you. It might not make a huge difference in real-world usage.
Honestly, I'd just go with the first one. It seems like a no-brainer with the speed and price.
