Why are my wired computers trying to connect to a guest WiFi network?

Yesterday, I encountered a strange issue where my business computers, which are supposed to be connected via wired Ethernet, suddenly started prompting for the password to the guest WiFi. This is particularly odd since one of the computers doesn't even have a wireless card. What could be causing this to happen?

Sounds like it could be a networking issue. Maybe your Ethernet ports got switched around. It’s worth checking your network setup and configurations.

It sounds like there's definitely something off with your network. The simplest explanation is that the computers might actually have hidden WiFi capabilities or it’s a glitch from a recent update. If the WiFi adapter is disabled, it's definitely odd that they are still seeking the guest network.

Well, even if the WiFi adapter is disabled, sometimes software quirks can make devices behave strangely.

Glad to hear you semi-fixed the problem! It seems like there was an unexpected connection between the two networks. These things can happen, especially after outages or hardware changes.
