Why can’t I save files anywhere on my Windows 11 system?

I'm the only user and have admin rights on my Windows 11 machine, but I'm running into a strange issue. For the last couple of weeks, I've been getting a pop-up message saying that I don't have permission to save files in my C drive. This is really frustrating because I've never had this problem before. Any ideas on how I can fix this?

It's a common issue that even admin accounts can face permission problems. Sometimes, just because you're the admin doesn't mean you have unfettered access to everything. Make sure you're trying to save in a folder that's not restricted. What specific path are you attempting to use?

Seems like a Windows quirk. Sometimes updates or system changes can adjust permissions unexpectedly. If you're only seeing certain folders like your C drive or can't edit much, you might need to check your user account settings or even do a system restore. Have you tried backing up your files and seeing if anything changes after a fresh restart?
