I've been using my gaming laptop as my primary PC and I've run into a frustrating issue. Every time I update Windows or check my Nvidia control panel settings, I find that the advanced 3D settings are limiting my frame rates to 60 FPS. I can change it, but it keeps reverting back to this limit. I'm looking for a solution to this problem. Here are my specs for context: AMD Ryzen 5 7535HS with Radeon graphics, Nvidia GeForce RTX 2050 (mobile version), and 16GB of RAM with 4800 MT/s.

Have you checked if Vsync is enabled? Sometimes, that's the culprit behind the FPS cap.
Vsync isn't on, but I think it might also be because my laptop switches to a battery-saving mode when it's unplugged. Not entirely sure, though.
