I've had my PC for about two years and recently I've noticed that whenever I turn it on, the lights in my house start blinking and even dim noticeably, especially when I boot up a game. Just yesterday, my PC turned off unexpectedly when the lights blinked. After trying it a few times, I found out that the dims happen every time I attempt to play a game. I've left it on for a long while and the same thing happens when I start gaming, usually lasting no more than 10 minutes. Does anyone know what could be causing this issue?

It sounds like your PC might be drawing too much power, especially when you're gaming. This could cause your home's lights to flicker if your electrical system is struggling to supply enough energy. It might be worth checking your power supply to see if there's an issue since you mentioned you replaced it less than a year ago. There could also be a problem with your home's wiring or the circuit you're using.
Could you maybe record a video of what’s happening? Also, do you have a home inverter? Those can sometimes help when you're experiencing power issues.
I'll try to make a video soon. And what's an inverter, by the way?
This could be a sign that your electrical grid is overloaded. I’m studying to be an electrician, and it’s possible that your wires can’t handle the amps you're pulling. To test this, try plugging in a power-hungry appliance like a microwave or heater into the same socket as your PC and see what happens to the lights when you turn it on.
I actually reset my BIOS, and surprisingly, that fixed it! How could that be connected to the lights flickering across the whole house?
Yeah, I've been using my setup for a while too and never had a problem until now. It's really strange how suddenly it started happening!
