Hey everyone! I recently built a new PC with some pretty powerful specs, specifically for playing CS2, but I'm running into a bizarre issue. Despite hitting an average of 400+ fps and having a 280Hz monitor with low frametime (around 3-4ms), the gameplay feels choppy, almost like it's limited to 60Hz at times. I've tried several troubleshooting methods, including updating all drivers, enabling DOCP in the BIOS, and cleaning up my Windows 11 installation, but nothing seems to help. Has anyone experienced something similar? If so, I'd love to hear how you fixed it! Here's my setup: Ryzen 9 7900X3D, RTX 4070Ti OC, 32GB DDR5 6000MHz RAM, and ASUS ROG X670E-E Motherboard. Thanks in advance!

Ensure that your HDMI/DP cable is connected to your GPU, not to the motherboard. Also, check if you enabled the XMP profile in the BIOS for your RAM. Running a benchmark like UNIGINE Valley can help diagnose hardware issues too.
Have you cleared your Steam shader cache? Sometimes that can cause some weird performance issues. It worked for me before!
Did you do a fresh install of Windows or just an update? Sometimes a clean install can solve a lot of weird problems like this.
Yeah, I tried that and it improved for about one match.
