I'm having some trouble with my PC's performance after getting it repaired and replacing my broken GPU. I expected a significant improvement, but I'm still only hitting around 30fps in games. My specs include an NVIDIA GeForce GT 1030, Intel Core i7-6700 CPU running at 3.40GHz, and 20GB of memory on a Z170 Pro Gaming motherboard. I ran some tests, and everything seems fine, so I'm really puzzled about this. Any advice?

Honestly, you shouldn't expect much from the GT 1030. It's more of an entry-level card suited for light tasks like watching movies or browsing. To really enjoy gaming with decent fps, consider upgrading to something like a GTX 1070 Ti or a 1080 if you can find one used.
The GT 1030 is pretty outdated, and it’s not designed for serious gaming. If you just bought it, I'd recommend returning it. You can find much more powerful cards like the GTX 1070 for under $100, which would dramatically improve your gaming experience.
I had no idea! I just bought it for about 3.6k here in the Philippines. It’s disappointing to hear!
