I recently tried to install a large game on my Windows 11 laptop, but it didn't run well, so I uninstalled it. Ever since this morning, my laptop has become incredibly slow. Even the search bar takes a considerable amount of time to open, while it used to be instant. Task Manager also takes a while to launch, and it shows 100% CPU usage when I do. I've tried clearing out junk and temporary files, but that hasn't resolved the issue. Does anyone have any ideas on what might be causing this sudden lag?

It sounds like there might be more going on than just the game install/uninstall. You could try checking if there are any background processes hogging your CPU. Sometimes, leftover files from uninstalled games or software can cause issues. If you haven’t already, running a full virus scan might also help to rule out any malware that could be affecting your performance. Additionally, consider updating your drivers if you haven’t done that in a while. It could make a difference!
Good point! I’ve noticed that sometimes just updating the drivers can work wonders in speeding things up.
