Why Is There Only One ARC Port on TVs?

I've noticed that most TVs only come with one ARC (Audio Return Channel) port, even though they have multiple HDMI slots available. Wouldn't it be more convenient if all HDMI ports supported ARC? I have a FireTV Stick connected via ARC, and I'd really like my BluRay player to use ARC as well so that I can control everything with just one remote. Is there a way to make this setup work?

What you actually need is HDMI-CEC, which allows you to control multiple devices with one remote. Make sure HDMI-CEC is enabled in your settings, and try using your TV remote for everything. It should simplify things for you!

I thought I had CEC enabled, but initially it didn’t work for my BluRay. After activating CEC on the FireTV, it did help, but I found out my BluRay player doesn't support CEC.
