Why won’t my PC detect Bluetooth devices?

I recently got this second-hand PC from a friend, and I'm struggling to get the Bluetooth functionality to work. I've tried connecting a wireless microphone, but it just won't detect any devices. It keeps prompting me with the 'add a device' screen, yet nothing shows up. I've gone through a list of troubleshooting steps, including uninstalling and reinstalling the driver, refreshing it, running the troubleshooter, and even using the system file checker. I wanted to try rolling back the drivers, but that option is greyed out. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to resolve this?

Just to clarify, check if you're able to detect any Bluetooth devices at all. If you can see other devices and it's just the microphone that's not connecting, then it might be an issue with the mic itself.

First, are you sure the motherboard actually has Bluetooth capabilities? Sometimes Windows doesn't inform you if there's no Bluetooth chip installed, particularly on desktop PCs. You might want to look up the motherboard model to check if it has an onboard Bluetooth receiver. If it doesn't, you can easily find USB Bluetooth adapters online or at local electronics stores like Best Buy.

If it helps, I had a similar issue and realized my Bluetooth wasn't enabled in the BIOS settings! If you're comfortable with it, you might wanna check those settings.
