I'm running Tailscale on Windows 11 Pro and can't access the web servers hosted on this device through the Tailscale network. I've tried creating inbound rules for the relevant IP range and several ports, and I've also allowed the application through Windows Firewall. The servers become accessible immediately when I disable the firewall, so the firewall appears to be the cause. What firewall settings or network profile should I check?

Double-check the Windows Firewall rules for the ports Tailscale uses, especially UDP 41641, and make sure the rules are actually inbound rules. The profile settings matter too—Windows may be treating the Tailscale adapter as a Public network. Edit the rules and confirm they apply to the active profile, or temporarily enable Domain, Private, and Public to test. Also verify that the rules aren’t accidentally configured as outbound rules.
Check which network profile Windows assigned to the Tailscale adapter. If it’s classified as Public while your custom rules only apply to Private or Domain networks, Windows will continue blocking the connections. You can either change the adapter to Private or edit the inbound rules so they include the Public profile as well. Make sure the rule applies to the correct local ports and executable, not just the Tailscale service itself.
